BAGAMOYO : PLOTS AT NEW MIDTOWN AREA

Bagamoyo is a deeply historic coastal town in Tanzania, located roughly 75 kilometers north of Dar es Salaam along the Indian Ocean. Known for its rich blend of Swahili, Arabic, German, and Indian heritage, the town serves as a vital national historic site and a candidate for UNESCO World Heritage status. Its name derives from the Kiswahili phrase Bwagamoyo, meaning "lay down your heart," reflecting the tragic history of the East African slave trade. It was the final mainland stop for captive caravans before being shipped across to Zanzibar.

Key Historical & Cultural Attractions
1.Kaole Ruins: Ancient 13th-to-16th-century Swahili archeological site featuring coral mosques, Shirazi-style pillared tombs, and old wells.
2.The Old Fort: Built by Omani Arabs in the mid-19th century and later repurposed by German forces as an administrative center and a prison.
3. Catholic Holy Ghost Mission: Established in 1868 as the first Catholic mission in East Africa, featuring a historic museum and the chapel where explorer David Livingstone’s body rested.
4.The German Boma: A grand 1897 colonial state house that served as the initial administrative capital of German East Africa.
5. Caravan Serai Museum: A historic Swahili-Islamic styled trading hub documenting the 19th-century ivory and slave trade caravans.

Creative Arts & Coastal Relaxation
A.Bagamoyo College of Arts (TaSUBa): A premier East African cultural institution where you can watch traditional musical or dance performances and view local artisan crafts.
B.Dhow Shipbuilding & Fish Market: Active waterfront spaces along Ocean Road where local fishermen auction catches and craftsmen construct traditional wooden dhow sailboats by hand.
C.Serene Beaches: Quiet, palm-fringed coastlines offering nearby getaways like the secluded Lazy Lagoon Island.

MEVITY BAGAMOYO's PLOTS: At Kimarang'ombe - Bagamoyo
DESCRIPTION: This project is located in Bagamoyo Town, within the Nia Njema Ward (Kimarang'ombe Street), approximately 6.5 kilometers from the Bagamoyo Bus Terminal.
LOCATION: The project is situated northwest of Bagamoyo Town in the Kimarang'ombe area, within a new residential zone. The plots here are notably large in size. Many middle- and high-income earners own plots in this area.

BENEFITS OF INVESTING IN BAGAMOYO:
#1. ESTABLISHED RESIDENTIAL AREA: The project site is already developed and inhabited. The presence of existing households makes the area attractive to many people.
#2. AVAILABILITY OF SOCIAL SERVICES: The presence of roads, water, electricity, and other social amenities—such as schools and hospitals—attracts people to establish homes here.
#3. HISTORIC TOWN: Bagamoyo is one of the few places in Tanzania with a rich history. The town's character and heritage make it a popular destination for domestic tourism.
